Cookie Policy

Effective: March 25, 2026

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owners.

Cookies may be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them manually. Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services that the website uses ("third-party cookies").

How We Use Cookies

Fixty uses cookies and similar technologies for several purposes: to authenticate your sessions and keep you securely logged in, to remember your cookie consent preferences, to protect against fraud during payment processing, to analyze how visitors use our website so we can improve the experience, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

We categorize our cookies into three groups: Essential Cookies (required for the Platform to function), Analytics Cookies (help us understand usage patterns), and Marketing Cookies (support our advertising efforts). You can manage your preferences for non-essential cookies at any time.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. They do not require your consent under most privacy regulations.

Supabase Authentication

Cookie: sb-access-token. Purpose: Stores your authentication access token to verify your identity and maintain your logged-in session. Duration: 1 hour (refreshed automatically).

Cookie: sb-refresh-token. Purpose: Used to obtain a new access token when the current one expires, enabling seamless session continuity without requiring you to log in again. Duration: 7 days.

Stripe Fraud Prevention

Cookie: __stripe_mid. Purpose: Set by Stripe to identify your device for fraud prevention during payment processing. This cookie helps Stripe detect suspicious payment activity and protect your transactions. Duration: 1 year.

Cookie: __stripe_sid. Purpose: Set by Stripe to track your browsing session during checkout for fraud detection purposes. Duration: 30 minutes.

CookieBot Consent

Cookie: CookieConsent. Purpose: Stores your cookie consent preferences so that the consent banner is not shown on every page visit and your choices are respected across sessions. Duration: 12 months.

Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously. They are loaded via Google Tag Manager and require your consent.

Google Analytics

Cookie: _ga. Purpose: Distinguishes unique visitors to our website by assigning a randomly generated identifier. Used to calculate visitor, session, and campaign data for our analytics reports. Duration: 2 years.

Cookie: _ga_* (e.g., _ga_XXXXXXXXXX). Purpose: Used by Google Analytics 4 to persist session state across page loads. The suffix is unique to our Google Analytics property. Duration: 2 years.

Cookie: _gid. Purpose: Distinguishes unique visitors on a per-day basis and tracks page views within a 24-hour period. Used to throttle request rates. Duration: 24 hours.

Marketing Cookies

These cookies are used to track visitors across websites and display relevant advertisements. They require your explicit consent before being activated.

Meta Pixel (Facebook)

Cookie: _fbp. Purpose: Set by Meta (Facebook) to identify your browser for advertising delivery, measurement, and attribution. Used to track conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads and to build remarketing audiences. Duration: 3 months.

Cookie: _fbc. Purpose: Stores the Facebook click identifier when you arrive at the site from a Facebook ad. Used to attribute conversions back to the specific ad click. Duration: 3 months.

Remarketing

Marketing cookies enable us to show you relevant Fixty advertisements when you browse other websites and social media platforms. These cookies track whether you have visited our site and which pages you viewed, allowing us to display ads that are more likely to be meaningful to you. You may see Fixty ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms that participate in remarketing networks.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit the Fixty website, a cookie consent banner powered by CookieBot will appear, giving you the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can choose to accept all cookies, accept only essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of any page on our website. This will reopen the CookieBot consent dialog, allowing you to update your choices. Your updated preferences will take effect immediately for future page loads.

Please note that withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies will not retroactively delete data already collected during the period when consent was active.

Browser Controls

In addition to using the CookieBot consent tool, you can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their privacy or security settings.

Chrome: Navigate to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Other Site Data. Firefox: Navigate to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data. Safari: Navigate to Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data. Edge: Navigate to Settings, then Cookies and Site Permissions, then Manage and Delete Cookies.

You can also configure your browser to block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or be notified before a cookie is set. Refer to your browser's help documentation for detailed instructions.

Impact of Disabling Cookies

If you disable or block essential cookies, certain core features of the Platform will not function properly. Specifically, you will be unable to log in or maintain an authenticated session (Supabase auth cookies are required for authentication), Stripe fraud prevention may be impaired which could result in payment processing failures, and your cookie consent preferences will not be saved between visits.

Disabling analytics cookies will not affect Platform functionality. However, it will limit our ability to understand how you use the Platform and to make improvements based on usage patterns.

Disabling marketing cookies will not affect Platform functionality. You may still see Fixty advertisements on other platforms, but they will not be personalized based on your browsing activity on our site.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Fixty website are set by third-party services rather than by Fixty directly. We use these third-party services to provide essential functionality, analytics, and marketing capabilities.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when the most recent revisions were made. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
