Labor is hours times your rate. Parts are your cost plus your markup. Each service carries both as separate lines, and the estimate and the invoice add up labor and parts on their own. The tax rate is set per job, starting from your shop rate, and applied to parts, labor or both, on the approved lines after any discount.
