Switching from Trackara Pro
Trackara Pro alternatives
Start from the uncomfortable part: this page is published by a product that costs more than the one you are on, and on several rows theirs does more. Here is the narrow case where leaving is right, and the wider one where it is not.
What actually moves, and what does not
Almost every alternatives page in this category is written by somebody cheaper than the thing you are leaving. This one is not, and pretending otherwise would waste your afternoon. Fixty Starter costs more than the single flat rate Trackara Pro publishes, and their rate covers every feature they sell with no tiers and no per user charge. If the bill is what sent you looking, close this tab.
What moves across is your customer list, and it does not move by itself. Fixty has no upload screen: there is nothing in the app you drag a file onto. You send the export to support, a person works through the columns with you, and it lands in your account without you typing it. No timescale has been published for that, so start the conversation before you cancel rather than after.
What does not move is everything that made the old system feel settled: past work orders, the inspection photos, the mileage log their tax report has been building for you. That last one is worth pausing on. If you have been running their optimizer all year, the deduction summary it produced is a document you may want at tax time, and it does not come with you. Export it and keep it somewhere you can find in April.
Pull the mileage and tax summary first, not last
Their route feature ends the day by writing a mileage summary into a tax log. That is a year of deductions living inside a subscription you are about to stop paying. Get it out while the account is open, and get their answer in writing about what else they return on the way out, because what any vendor hands back at the end is not something published on their site.
The customer list is a conversation, not an upload
Send the export to Fixty support and go through it with whoever picks it up. Which customers make the cut is your call and it is what sets the size of the job. There is no screen in the app that does this for you.
Decide what happens to the text thread
Their messages go out through your own phone, so the conversation already lives in your handset rather than in their software. That is the one migration you do not have to do, and it is also the reason the history is not in an export to begin with. In Fixty the thread lives in the product, and a dedicated number sits on Growth rather than Starter.
Work out what replaces the routing before you switch, not after
Fixty does not sequence your day at all. If their optimizer has been ordering your stops and dropping the parts run into the gap, you are going back to doing that in your head or in a maps app. Try a week of it while both subscriptions are live.
Overlap on purpose
Run both for a few weeks. Write new work in the new system, look up old work in the old one, and only cancel when a whole week has passed without opening Trackara Pro.
What you give up by leaving Trackara Pro
Trackara Pro is not a product you are escaping. On the rows below they publish a capability and Fixty publishes none, and these are their sentences, not our summary of them.
Route optimization
Fixty: No. Fixty does not do this. It was advertised once by mistake and the claim was retracted.
Trackara Pro
Yes
“Plan the day from your jobs list. Reorder stops to kill dead miles. Drop a parts-pickup at AutoZone or NAPA right where it makes sense. End the day with a mileage summary that flows into your tax log automatically.”
pro.trackara.app/features/route-optimizer, read August 30, 2026
Parts inventory management
Fixty: No. Fixty tracks parts on a job, not stock on a shelf.
Trackara Pro
Yes
“Add every part you carry. Set quantities and update them as you use parts on jobs. Always know what you have before you drive anywhere, no more surprise shortages.”
pro.trackara.app/features/parts-inventory, read August 30, 2026
Multi technician teams
Fixty: No. One mechanic, one workspace. Built solo first on purpose.
Trackara Pro
Partial
“Yes, that's one of the best reasons for it. Anyone you trust with your account can book jobs, build quotes and answer customers from a computer while you're out on a call with your phone.”
pro.trackara.app/web-portal, read August 30, 2026
When Trackara Pro is the better choice, in full
- Money is the deciding factor. Their published flat rate is roughly half of Fixty Starter, it is the same number whether you pay monthly or yearly, and it carries every feature they sell rather than a tier. On price alone this is the harder product to argue against in this whole registry.
- You want the driving order of your day solved. Their route optimizer reorders stops, drops parts pickups into the run and feeds the mileage into a tax log. Fixty does not plan routes at all, so this is a straight loss and not a matter of taste.
- You carry stock in the van. They track quantities, cost against selling price, low stock thresholds and which parts went on which job. Fixty tracks parts on a job and has no notion of what is on the shelf.
- You work where the signal dies. Their app is sold as working offline and syncing later; Fixty has no offline mode and uses an optimistic UI with a request queue instead, which is not the same promise in a rural driveway.
- You want the customer thread on your own phone number with nothing in between. Their messages go out through the phone native SMS from the mechanic own number, which some solo mechanics prefer to a product owned number, even though it means the conversation is not kept inside the software.
Every Trackara Pro claim on this page was read from their own site, is quoted with the page it came from, and was last re-read on August 30, 2026. Where a cell says we could not confirm something, that is what it means: we looked and did not find it, which is not the same as it not existing.
The one real reason to leave: the money has not arrived
Everything else on this page is a trade. This is the part that is not. Their own roadmap describes where card payment inside the invoice currently sits:
Partial
“Already built into the backend. We're finishing the in-app card-tap flow so you can collect payment right inside the invoice view.”
pro.trackara.app/roadmap, read August 30, 2026
Read that as what it is: a company being straight about what they have not shipped, on a page most vendors do not publish at all. It is not a criticism of them. It is a date you do not control, and if the thing costing you money is invoices that age while you wait to be paid, a roadmap is not a plan you can run a business on.
Money does move through their product today, and it is worth being precise about where. Their booking portal takes a deposit while the customer books, which is a genuinely good mechanism and the one thing on this page that Fixty does not answer as directly:
Yes
“Drop your booking link in your bio, your text-back template, and your Google listing. Customers pick a service, pick a time, and pay a deposit, without you ever stopping work to send them another text.”
pro.trackara.app/features/online-booking-portal, read August 30, 2026
So the question is narrow and you can answer it from your own bank statement: is your problem the deposit at the front of the job, or the balance at the end of it. If it is the deposit, you already have the better tool. If it is the balance, that is the switch this page is about, and it is the only one it argues for.
Where the customer conversation lives, and why anybody cares
This is the difference people notice in month three rather than week one. Asked whether messages go out through a number of their own, Trackara Pro answers plainly:
Partial
“No. Trackara Pro sends the message using your phone's standard SMS, the customer sees it from your number, replies come back to you. No third-party number, no extra subscription, no "855" shortcode the customer ignores.”
pro.trackara.app/features/on-my-way-proof-of-service, read August 30, 2026
That is a deliberate design and plenty of solo mechanics prefer it. The customer sees your number. There is no shortcode they ignore, no second subscription, no wondering whether a reply went somewhere you are not looking. If you have built a business on people texting you directly, this is a feature and not a gap.
The cost is that the conversation is not in the software. It is in your handset, next to your mother and your parts supplier, and it is not attached to the job it belongs to. Nobody minds that at ten customers. At three hundred, the question of what you told someone in March is answered by scrolling, and the day you want to hand any of it to somebody else, it does not exist anywhere you can hand over.
What you are paying more for, stated as plainly as we can
A cheaper tool that does less is only cheaper if you do not buy the missing pieces back, and that argument is usually made by the expensive product. Here it runs the other way and it is worth saying so out loud: on the sixteen axes this site compares, Trackara Pro publishes a yes on three rows where Fixty publishes a flat no, and Fixty publishes a yes on three rows where theirs is qualified. That is not a landslide in either direction.
The three rows Fixty answers and theirs qualifies are the invoice you can be paid from, the customer thread living inside the product, and a pipeline board that shows every job at once rather than a status on each. If none of those three is your problem, the extra monthly cost buys you nothing and you should not pay it.
The honest summary is that these are two products aimed at the same person from opposite ends. Theirs starts from the driving day and works toward the paperwork. Fixty starts from the paperwork and has never touched the driving day. Buy the one whose starting point is the part of your week that hurts.
Who should not switch to Fixty
Most people who arrive on this page should stay on Trackara Pro. These four especially, and none of it is close.
Your day is a driving problem
Their optimizer reorders your stops, drops a parts pickup where it fits and keeps the mileage log. Fixty does not plan routes at all, on any plan, and is not going to.
You carry stock in the van
They track quantities, cost against selling price and low stock thresholds. Fixty tracks parts on a job and has no idea what is on your shelf.
You work where the signal dies
Their app is sold as working offline and syncing later. Fixty runs in a phone browser with an optimistic UI and a request queue, which is not the same promise in a rural driveway.
The monthly number is the decision
Their flat rate is under Fixty Starter and covers every feature they sell, with no tier to climb. Nothing on this page argues otherwise.
Alternatives to Trackara Pro that are not Fixty
Fixty is the option we are obviously not neutral about, and on this particular page we are also the expensive one. So here are the others we hold sourced data on, and who each actually fits. Two of them are cheaper than both of us.
ARI
Fits you if: You want to stay under Fixty money, keep auto native paperwork, and get the two things Trackara Pro has no published answer for: a QuickBooks Online sync and stock you can count.
The catch: Their free tier is a usage cap rather than a trial, at five each of invoices, estimates, inspections, clients and vehicles. Enough to see the product, not enough to run a week through it.
In their own words
Mobile mechanics named first, then independent technicians, shops of every size, dealers and auto care professionals.
“Built for mobile mechanics, independent technicians, auto repair shops of every size, auto dealers, and auto care professionals.”

Cheapest published monthly price
$39.99 per month
“ARI starts at $39.99/month (Pro) and tops out at $59.99/month (Pro Plus), billed month-to-month with a free trial.”

Orderry
Fits you if: Parts are the hard part of your day and your books have to stay current. They are the only product in our data with a two way sync to both QuickBooks Online and Xero.
The catch: Their entry plan is capped at two employees, one location and a fixed number of work orders every thirty days, and their own pricing page says the cap cannot be extended. Their route aware scheduling is marked coming soon rather than shipped.
In their own words
Yes
“Yes. Orderry has two-way integrations with QuickBooks Online and Xero, so invoices and payments stay up to date in both systems.”

Cheapest published monthly price
$39 per month
“All prices are in USD and exclude special offers and sales tax where applicable. Annual subscriptions are billed yearly.”

Deelo
Fits you if: You want an optimizer and a booking page for nothing while you decide whether either changes your week. Their free plan has no clock on it at one user.
The catch: No native phone app is claimed anywhere on their site, the vehicle knowledge is an industry template rather than a product, and the texting that would carry a payment request is priced as an add on outside the plan.
In their own words
Yes
“Optimal daily route ordering with haversine distance calculation, drag-to-reorder, and Google Maps navigation links.”
deelo.ai/app/service, read August 30, 2026
Cheapest published monthly price
$0 per month
“Yes! Deelo offers a generous free plan that includes all apps with core features. You can run your mobile mechanics operations without paying a cent. Paid plans start at $19/seat/month when you need advanced features, more storage, or AI credits.”
deelo.ai/for/mobile-mechanics, read August 30, 2026
We sell one of the options on this page, so read the quotes rather than our summary of them. Each price above is the cheapest monthly figure that vendor publishes, which is usually the annually billed rate. Paying month to month generally costs more.
Questions people ask before they switch
Is Fixty cheaper than Trackara Pro?
No. Their published rate is a single flat figure covering every feature they sell, and it is under Fixty Starter on either billing basis. If price is the deciding factor, they win it and this page is not going to argue.
Can a customer pay an invoice inside Trackara Pro?
Their own roadmap says the card tap inside the invoice view is being finished, with the backend already built. Their booking portal does take a deposit today. Read the roadmap yourself before buying either product for payments, because that page is where the answer is and it can change.
What does Fixty do that Trackara Pro does not?
Three things on the axes this site compares: the customer pays the invoice on the same link they approved the estimate on, the text thread lives in the software attached to the job rather than in your handset, and every job sits on one pipeline board. That is the whole list, and if none of the three is your problem you should not switch.
Does Fixty have route optimization or van inventory?
Neither, on any plan. Trackara Pro publishes both. If your week is decided by the order of your stops or by what is left on the shelf, they are the better buy and this page ranks them first on our own best-app shortlist for exactly that reason.
Does Fixty have iPhone and Android apps?
Fixty runs in a phone browser. Trackara Pro ships native apps on both platforms and sells one subscription across iPhone, Android and the web. If an installed app matters to you, that is a real difference and it is not one we can talk you out of.
If you are switching, start on one job
Do not migrate anything. Take your next job, write the estimate at the curb, text it, let the customer approve the lines they want, and take the card before you pack up. If that one job is better than the way you do it today, enter the next customer too.
Try Fixty free for 14 daysStarter is 14 days free. A card is collected at signup and charged on day 14. Cancel any time and access runs to the end of the cycle you paid for.
